Craftsmanship is a special gift God gives to certain members of the body of Christ to use their hands and knowledge of materials in the areas of maintenance and upkeep of God's physical blessings, creating special products for the enhancement of God's people in worship, and serving the world with special projects that share Christ's love.

Please contact if you would like more information on any of the following opportunities.

Board of Trustees

The Board of Trustees provides for the space needs of Holy Cross along with serving as the legal representatives of the congregation. This board is made up of three or more members who manage the upkeep and care of all the physical church property and associated insurance coverage. Prior to the setting of the annual budget, they are to inspect all property and file an inventory of condition with the Executive Council.

Landscape Maintenance & Development

Those who are willing to offer their service in planting and caring for flowers, greens, shrubs and trees along with sprucing up the lawn will be greatly appreciated. This type of service could include the Holy Cross property, a member's property, or the property of another service organization.

Building Maintenance & Development

While normal, ongoing maintenance is contracted, there are occasions when the skills of volunteer electricians, plumbers, painters, carpenters and concrete masons could be used. If you possess one or more of these skills, please give us a call.

VBS Crafts Committee

A very important aspect of our annual VBS week is the craft sessions designed for the participants. This committee coordinates and organizes the crafts for the classes. These crafts are planned to supplement the lessons being taught during the week.

Women interested in quilting meet regularly at church to make quilts for Lutheran World Relief and other organizations that use quilts for relief situations. On the job training will be provided.
